Your professional guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel. The tour begins with a short introduction to Burundi’s history, culture, and the significance of Bujumbura as the country’s main economic city.
Stop 1: Independence Hero Monument
Visit the Independence Hero Monument and learn about Burundi’s journey to independence. Your guide will explain the story of Prince Louis Rwagasore and the importance of this landmark. The site also offers panoramic views of the city and excellent photo opportunities.
Stop 2: Livingstone–Stanley Monument
Continue to the historic Livingstone–Stanley Monument, marking the meeting of the two explorers. Enjoy a short guided walk while learning about the colonial history and early exploration of East Africa.


Stop 3: Rusizi National Park – Boat Safari
