Your journey begins in Bujumbura with a scenic drive toward the green highlands of Teza.

At the Teza Tea Plantation, you will walk through endless rolling tea fields, enjoy fresh mountain air, and learn how tea is cultivated and processed. The landscape here is peaceful, refreshing, and perfect for photography.

From there, you continue to Kibira National Park, one of Burundi’s most important natural reserves.

This ancient rainforest is part of the Congo-Nile Divide and offers beautiful hiking opportunities. During your guided walk, you will discover dense tropical vegetation, birds, and the quiet atmosphere of a protected forest ecosystem.

After the hike, you travel to Gitega, Burundi’s political capital, for a cultural highlight at the Gishora Drum Sanctuary.
